I’m Playing Tag

Blogger tag that is… I’ve been tagged for a meme by Marye from Baking Delights. I don’t do these very often, but this one sounds like fun.

Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person who “tagged” you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

Hmmm… Six random things?

1. I like to help with the planning, and working of parties because I really don’t like to mingle and talk. I tend to be the quiet person in the corner, I’m not good at joining in the conversation at all. If I’m the hostess, or if I’m helping with the party I have something to do with my hands and something to talk about.

2. I’m allergic to most perfumes, colognes, air fresheners, candles, lotions, and other synthetic scents. If I breath in too much, or spray them on myself I have a sneezing fit, sore throat and eventually get a migraine headache. If I walk into a store and the scents are too strong, I turn around and walk back out. I usually make my own soaps, candles, etc. or add my own scents to unscented products. Most scents from nature don’t bother me.

3. It took me five years (and much heartache) to have one child and I thank God every day for him.

4. I was a corporate buyer for ten years. I really enjoyed some things about the job, but hated the long hours and the stress. I decided to quit to spend time with my son while he’s young. I’m glad I did, since he’s growing up so fast.

5. I’m becoming a web 2.0 junkie. I’m addicted to Squidoo, Twitter, and Facebook.

6. I’m a substitute teacher and I love working with children, especially crafting and creating.
